Beverly J. Comley, 77 passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at her home. She was born on November 21, 1945 in San Francisco, California to George and Nola Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Nola Vaughn of Modesto, California, one sister, Gail L. Jones of Springdale, Arkansas, husband, Thomas C. Comley of Springdale, Arkansas and one granddaughter, Krista Jean Crawley. Beverly had three children: Brenda Maltz and husband Ben of Olympia, Washington, Tina Darnell and husband Kevin of Springdale, Arkansas and Bob Nelson and wife Jill of Springdale, Arkansas. Beverly had several grandchildren: Kevin Maltz and wife Toni and their daughter, Krista Rose of Olympia, Washington, John Maltz and wife Marissa of Olympia, Washington, Scott Darnell and wife Yonnie and their son Jake of West Fork, Arkansas, Ashley Anderson and husband Chris and their daughter, Brooke of Springdale, Arkansas, Cody Nelson and wife Rachel of Rogers, Arkansas and Wyatt Nelson of Springdale, Arkansas. Beverly passed very peacefully and surrounded by her family during her final days. She loved family unconditionally and knew how important it was to be together. She carried a unique relationship with each one of her children and grandchildren. She was a very creative person who spent endless hours behind a sewing machine, knitting needles, crocheting, painting or whatever new creation she might think up. She was talented in so many ways but crafting was her passion. She volunteered at the homeless shelter, soup kitchens, food pantries and through her church. She knew her Lord and Savior and loved her church family and Tuesday Connection Group. An interment service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:30 at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Memorial services will be Thursday, December 1 at 1:30 at Temple Baptist Church in Springdale with Pastor Don Elmore officiating.
