E. SEMONE NEWMAN JONES FLORA E. Semone Newman Jones Flora, 61 of Rogers, AR, lost her courageous battle against brain cancer, September 16, 2008. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born June 12, 1947 in Borger, TX to Morton and Edith Newman of Springdale, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her beautiful daughter Reagan Jones and son-in-law Chad, her beautiful granddaughter Raya Jones, sister Mortie Dorothy all of Bentonville, AR, and her loving husband of four years, Wayne Flora of Rogers, AR. Semone was founder of Jones Janitorial Services, Inc. in 1974, the first commercial cleaning establishment in NWA. Jones Janitorial continues to be a successful family owned and operated business. Semone was loved and admired by her many friends. She was an astute businesswoman with many passions and talents. Music, friends and family surrounded her all of her life. She loved dancing and was well known for her artistic decorating abilities. Her home reflected her decorating talents as it rivaled many done by professionals in their fields. She will be forever loved, remembered and missed by her adoring friends and her loving family. A new star will shine in the sky that will be as bright as her beautiful smile and will enrich the lives of everyone she shines her light on, in death as she did in life. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 at Sisco Funeral Chapel 705 West Meadow, Springdale, AR. In lieu of flowers, tax deductible donations can be made in her name to the HOPE Foundation. "Hope" provides financial and emotional assistance for cancer patients in NWA.
