Jeffrey Lee Pierce

Jeffrey Lee Pierce, age 61, of Springdale AR, passed away on April 24, 2023 at his home in Springdale. A private viewing will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 3-6 pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel, 705 W Meadow in Springdale, prior to his cremation. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held Saturday, May 6th from 2-4 pm at the same funeral home Jeffrey Lee Pierce was born in North Little Rock to Jim and Linda Pierce on December 26th of 1961. After attending Springdale High School, and swimming as a Fayetteville Bulldog, Jeff enlisted in the US Army, and graduated from Methodist University while stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. There he received his bachelor's degree in Business, which was awarded “with the greatest honors” or Summa Cum Laude. He received so many honors that his proud father still recalls being worn out from putting all of his awards around his neck during the ceremony. After being honorably discharged from the military, Jeff returned to his home state of Arkansas. He was offered his first position in the hatching egg/broiler industry in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He decided to raise his family there before relocating to his roots in Northwest Arkansas later in life. Jeff continued to work in the poultry industry for over 35 years, where he established long term relationships domestically as well as internationally. Most recently as the Vice President of Marketing/Sales and Strategic Planning for CWT Farms International, Inc. He was an absolute legend in the egg industry. He took great pride in his many accomplishments and worked most of his career developing and growing business in Canada, where he made many great friends that were more like family. He was known as “Mr. Canada”, and “The Egg Man” amongst family, friends, and colleagues alike. As a highly respected colleague and leader in the industry, Jeffrey never met a stranger, and never backed down from a challenge to meet or exceed the requests of his customers. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kermit and Effie Mae Ross and Jeff and Jean Pierce. Jeffrey is survived by his wife Sherry Murray Pierce, 2 adult children and their spouses Dr.’s Bryant and DiLanka Pierce, and Jami and Dustin Downen all from the Northwest Arkansas area. He is also survived by 3 brothers. Brad and Sonya Pierce of Florida, Brandon and Melissa Pierce of Oklahoma and Kendall and Denise Pierce of Northwest Arkansas.
