Mark Pickle

Mark is the youngest of 7 children and is survived by his wife, Janet Pickle and his three children, Mark, Ryan and Ashlynn Pickle all of the home, all of Hogeye. Mark also had a role as a father figure in the lives of Jamie Peal and Bradley Ward who gave him his only grandchildren Khira and Kenzy Ward. Mark is also survived by his mother and step father Virginia and Robert George of Hogeye, 3 sisters; Shirley Smith of Bufford, Ga, Mickey Moore of Farmington, Cathy Kincheloe of Prairie Grove, 2 Brothers; Jake Pickle Jr. and Donald Pickle of Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his father Jake Pickle Sr. of Fayetteville and his brother John Pickle of Tulsa, Ok. Mark also leaves behind 13 nieces and 14 nephews and many great nieces and nephews along with many other family members. The funeral will take place Monday, March 26 at 2pm at New Sulpher Baptist Church in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Mark has always been known the be the type of man who is always there for his family and who will do anything to help no matter how good or bad the outcome may have been. After hearing some of the memories his family has of him I felt I needed to share of those memories with everyone here. Mark was always well remembered by his speedo shorts and tank tops and his obsession with hiding frogs in his dresser. Many of his nephews and nieces remember the time he had bought all of them remote control backhoes and dump trucks for Christmas and all of them thought it was the best thing ever. He would come out and help all the kids twist them up in the tire swing and watch them spin and spin till they couldn't walk when they climbed out. Mark loved spending time out on the lake camping and boating and in general spending time with family. Family was always important to mark and he made special attempts to always be there for his family. He had gone to great lengths to help his mom rebuild her home after it burned down. This is just how Mark was. Always present and accounted for. The best day of his life was the day he brought each of his children home from the hospital. He loved being a father and took so much pride in being the best father he could be. Mark enjoyed his life fully even after he become ill. He left a legacy that will not be forgotten and will forever live on.
