Noretta Miller

Noretta Fern Miller met Jesus face to face on April 28, 2009. She is loved and continues her legacy in the people she cherished- her husband of 52 years Chet Miller, her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and many others who have been touched by her life. She was born in Wellington Texas in 1937 then moved to Muleshoe where her father and mother operated a harvesting company. Noretta moved from there after marrying her husband Chester Wayne Miller. Coming to Arkansas in 1960, they began a home construction business and farm which served them and the people of Northwest Arkansas until their retirement in 1994. She was a fabulous wife, homemaker, mother , MeMa and friend to countless people in her lifetime. Her legacy continues in the family of faith that she invested herself within. We carry on to bring glory to our heavenly Father in our daily lives as she so selflessly taught us to do. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Clara Harrison, her brother Donald Harrison, and her son Ricky Wayne Miller. She lives on in her daughter Melinda and husband Ken Blackwell of Cave Springs, and her son Dennis and wife Kerry Miller of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and son Randy and wife Jennifer Miller of North Richland Hills, TX. Her life is also strong in her grandchildren, Alicia and Nathan Brown, Ryan and Rachel Blackwell, Kelsey, Delaney, Cara, and Allison Miller. Her great grandchildren are also testimonies of her love: Will, Kate, Eli, and two soon to be added additions. She is also survived by her brother Ted Harrison and wife Betty of Muleshoe Texas, Bobbie Harrison of Muleshoe, Jeanetta Precure and husband Ray of Muleshoe, Jerry Harrison and wife Diana of Muleshoe, Denice Simpson and husband Steve of Bentonville and many loving nieces and nephews, and cousins. Choose you this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house?we will serve the Lord. Services will be held on Saturday May 2 at 11:00 a.m. First Baptist Church Springdale where she was a member since 1963. Burial will be in Rogers at Benton County Memorial Park cemetery. Visitation will be at the chapel of First Baptist Church of Springdale on Friday May 1 from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale in memory of Noretta Miller.
