David Lynn Tennant Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Lynn Tennant, 77, of Rogers, passed away on July 7, 2022 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville Arkansas after fighting brain cancer for the past year. He is in Heaven with Jesus, enjoying the rewards that serving God and making Jesus the Lord of your life promises. He is happy and healthy, and his wish would be that if you have not done so, you would accept Jesus as your Savior and join him in Heaven someday. David was born in Peoria, Illinois September 23, 1944. He grew up in Decatur, IL, and graduated with a Business degree from Illinois State University. He taught school in Cicero, IL for a short time. David was an excellent athlete, playing and coaching football and basketball. He was also a CLU, Certified Life Underwriter. He sold life and health insurance for 50 years. David graduated from Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, OK, and began serving as a pastor in churches in Oklahoma, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Pegge Tennant, pioneered Faith For the World Family Church in Glendale, Arizona. David enjoyed playing the guitar and singing so very much. He played the guitar in almost every church he attended or pastored. Most of all though he loved his family, Beth, Sara, Leslie, Jeff, Steve, and Toni. In addition, David had 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren that he loved and was so proud of. David had many friends in Morgantown PA where he and Pegge had lived. Especially important to him were Paul B and Anna Stoltzfus. David requested no services. His church home is Bentonville Eastside Assembly of God, Pastors Robert and Sheila Ward.
