Gail Lynn Jones Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gail Lynn Jones, 77 of Springdale passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born September 19, 1944 in Santa Cruz, California to George and Nola Vaughn. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Springdale where she was active in Tuesday Connections and she was very active in the Springdale Homeless Mission. She was a retired bookkeeper working for many years in the medical field. She loved her dogs, baking, gardening, yard work, and the Pacific Ocean. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a great sense of humor with a little bit of grit, she was a beautiful person inside and out. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Jones; her son, David Jones, and her oldest step-son, Bill Jones. Survivors include one sister and best friend, Beverly Comley of the home; one step daughter, Barbara “Elaine” Baltagi and husband Zack of California, one step son, Michael Jones and wife Irene of Idaho, her grandchildren: David, Elisa, Ciera, Michael, Valorie, Brian, Deanna, Garrett and several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; and her very dear friend Kristine Shepherd of Australia. A celebration of life will be Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Buttram and Pastor Don Elmore officiating. At Gail’s request an Ice Cream Social will follow the service at the church.
