Martha Sturdivant, age 93 passed away on June 26, 2022 at the Shiloh Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bethel Heights, Arkansas. She was born on December 6, 1928 in El Dorado, Arkansas to William J. Hubbard and Lennie Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Doyne Sturdivant, her parents, a daughter, Wanda S. Trichel, three brothers, John Hubbard, Marvin Hubbard, and Harvey Hubbard, and a sister, Mary Owens. Survivors include her son, Gary Sturdivant (Donna) of Lima, Ohio, her daughter, Judy Trichel of Springdale, Arkansas, a brother, Thomas Hubbard (Wanda) of Springdale, Arkansas, Grandchildren; Sonya Cagle, Ronnie Trichel, Gary “Sonny” Sturdivant, Allen Trichell, Paul Trichel, and Matthew Sturdivant, and great grandchildren, Jacob Cagle, Blaise Trichel, Tyler Trichel, Nicholas Cagle, Gavin Sturdivant, Logan Sturdivant, Piper Sturdivant, Grayson Trichell, Samuel Sturdivant, Quinn Sturdivant, Coby Trichel, and Xack Trichel and a Great Great Grandson, Nickie Trichel. Martha worked for Prescolite Lighting Inc. in El Dorado, Arkansas until her retirement. Martha was of the Assemblies of God faith. She loved God, family, and her many friends. She loved the Bible and enjoyed listening to Jimmy Swaggert singing songs about Heaven. A memorial service will be held at the Urbana Cemetery in Urbana, Arkansas at a later date.
