Mary Beth Clem

January 15, 1941 - March 6, 2022

Mary Beth Clem, 81 of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Shiloh Health and Rehab in Springdale. She was born January 15, 1941 in Muleshoe, Texas to Joseph Earl and Virgie Mae Lackey Jeter. Mary Beth was a bookkeeper for many years for various businesses. She and her husband Cotton Clem helped start the John Shaddox Wagon Train that travels from Harrison to the Springdale Rodeo of the Ozarks. She was the secretary for the Springdale Junior Rodeo and the Northwest Arkansas Stock Horse Association, she was a member of the Springdale Riding Club. She was a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cotton Clem, one brother, Bill Jeter and one sister, Earlene Howard. Survivors include one daughter, Carri Scott and husband Jason of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Ashley Martin and husband Leo of Bella Vista and Whitney Prater and husband Hayden of Centerton; three great grandchildren, Ian Martin and Jace Martin and Ledger Prater and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10am at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville with Tim Howard officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Pallbearers will be Lyndell Thomas, Sam Howard, Eddie Shockley, Jason Scott, John Welkley and Harlan Mott. Honorary pallbearers will be J.G. Cash, Jimmie Parker and George Parker. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
