Patricia H. Miesner, born Patricia Jayne Holbrook on October 23, 1930, died peacefully in her sleep on June 17, 2020. Beloved matriarch who put the independent in woman many years before the rest of society was ready. She earned her pilot's license in the 1960’s and was a successful assessor and realtor before turning to counseling at Fayetteville High School and then Ramay Junior High. She loved to bird watch, play bridge, and travel. She was ahead of her time in so many ways trying to support and understand her students. After Pat’s retirement she became a Bridge Life Master and it was nothing to see her at a bridge table in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, or Bella Vista. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jo Ann Hudgens. She leaves behind her daughter, Lindi Johnson; son-in-law, Mark Johnson; granddaughter, Patricia Goin; grandson-in-law, James Goin, granddaughter, Graci Johnson; and great granddaughter, Joanna Johnson. Miss Pat left directions for her family to follow wherever she went—the most pressing being that she not have a memorial service.
