Paula Joye "Penny" Patton

Paula Joye “Penny” Patton, 89 of Springdale passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born May 5, 1929 in Lowell, Arkansas to Luther and Gordie Stephenson Penny. Paula was a homemaker. She attended Faith Regular Baptist Church in Elm Springs. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and spending time with her grandkids. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin C. Patton to whom she married November 20, 1948; her parents, four brothers, Allen, Elmer, Lowell and Roger Penny and two sisters, Ferna Locklin, Donna Graham; one great grandson, Kayden Raye Patton. Survivors include one son, Luther Patton of Shell Knob, Missouri; two daughters, Penny Patton and Clyde Betnar of Rogers, Arkansas and Patti Pavlak and husband John of Rogers; six grandchildren, Jesse Patton and wife Ashleigh, Hannah Pavlak, Aaron Pavlak, Mary Patton, Jordan Patton and Carley Patton; two great grandchildren, Nickolas Patton and Alekzander Patton; two sister in laws, Dorothy Penny and Juanita Ferrell both of Springdale and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Coy Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Silent Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 4pm at the funeral home.
