Roy A Trammell, 88 of Tontitown, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 17, 1933 to Olen and Tressie Trammell in Everton, Arkansas. His passion was automotive mechanics, having been a service manager specializing in Volkswagens and also operated his own repair business. Additionally he taught at Northwest Vocational Technical School for 18 years and was also a founding Captain of the Tontitown Area Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was the oldest member of the St. Joe, Arkansas Masonic Lodge # 317. Friends and relatives will remember him for his fellowship, patience and willingness to always stop and help anyone in need. Roy is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Della Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Trammell of the home; one daughter, Debbie Blaylock (Marshall) of Tontitown, one son, Kelton Trammell of Nashville, Tennessee and one brother, Dennis Trammell (Joyce) of Valley Springs, Arkansas; granddaughter, Jami Morgan (Dakota Thibodeaux) and great grandson, Olen and many nephews, nieces and friends. A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, May 19 at 6pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, the family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Thursday evening. A graveside service will be Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2pm at Western Grove Cemetery in Western Grove, Arkansas.
