Connie L. Proctor Buckle

Connie L. Proctor-Buckle, age 81, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed peacefully surrounded by family on December 31st, 2024. Born May 5th, 1943, Connie lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and friends in true Southern Belle fashion. She navigated life's challenges with elegance and grace and stood proud in Christianity and strong moral values. Connie worked as a hairdresser before purchasing a peach orchard with her family in Springdale while working for Bobby Hopper Ford and through the business's transition to Lewis Ford. She retired professionally as the Manager of Human Resources from Lewis Ford in 2016 after roughly 36 years of service. Throughout her life and into retirement, Connie enjoyed traveling with her husband Fred, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren traveling across the country in their RV, visiting all corners of the United States, including family trips to Maine, Virginia, the Gulf Coast of Alabama, and Florida, South Dakota. Across the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona, into the northern parts of California, and to the Redwoods National Forest, Roads traveled were known to take detours to include memorable stops along the way to include National landmarks such as the battlegrounds of Little BigHorn, the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, Mount Rushmore, and the Grand Canyon. Outside of traveling, Connie enjoyed being at home in Springdale and having meaningful conversations and large sit-down family dinners, no matter what chaos the day may have brought. Connie loved relaxing at their cabin in Norfork, watching the White River flow by. Connie continued to cherish the importance of family and its unity, leading yet another large family vacation to Canada in June of 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, James Lynch, and mother, Anna Lou Lynch, sister, Billie Lynch Ames, and stepchild Frederick Nicholas Buckle. Survivors include her beloved husband, Frederick Macager Buckle, who fiercely stood by her side through sickness and health, her son, Kendall, and his wife, Kimberly Proctor, their two sons, Tyler Proctor, who is married to Ellen, and Trevor Proctor, who is engaged to Tori Rudolph. She also leaves behind her daughter, Kristin Johnson, and her granddaughter, Megan and husband Cody Smith, as well as three grandsons, Jackson with girlfriend Calli, Blake, and Brett Johnson, and a stepdaughter Ashley Kimbro and five children Kenleigh and husband Lincoln Combs, Zach, Chloe, Connor, and Harper. Connie had the joy of being a great-grandmother to Clayton, Gatlin, and Vivian. Connie will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for her loved ones. Her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Services will be held on January 8th, 2024, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas, at 2 PM.
