Ida England

Ida Ellen (Watts) England , 86, of Fayetteville , Ark. died Sat., April, 30, in her home. Ida was born June 14, 1924, in Fayetteville , to Pearl and Beulah (Bradshaw) Watts . She was an identical twin to Irene (Mrs. Wayne) Neff, and had a younger sister, Ruby Nell (Mrs. Jack) Williams; both preceded her in death. Ida married her high school sweetheart, Ray E. England, Jr. shortly before he served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Ray and Ida were long-time active members of First Baptist Church in Springdale . Ida served as Girl Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, loving nursery worker, and faithful choir member. She and Ray enjoyed taking their children camping, fishing, and on driving tours of much of the United States .a true love of adventure that grew into the two of them touring over 48 countries, and most continents of the world. Ida is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ray England, her four children, Charolette ( England )Caudle and husband John of Long Beach, Wa. their daughters Stephanie and Michele; Mark England and wife Mimi, of Austin, Tx., and children Jesse, Kelly, Hannah, and Sophie; Marleen( England )Pellham and husband Galen of Springfield, Mo. and children Amelia, Melanie, Christopher; Phillip England and wife Alice(Blackshear) of Dallas, Tx. area, and children Cary and Holly. Ida was a devoted grandmother to her 11 grandchildren as well as10 great grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, including a host of other dear relatives and friends. Ida leaves a legacy for all these.her love and faith in Jesus Christ and her great love for her family and friends. Her favorite scripture, John 11:25 , where Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live!" was a reflection of her life here on earth and her anticipation of life eternal with her Heavenly Father. To celebrate her life, please join the family at a graveside service to be held Tues. May 3, 2011 2:00p.m at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale , under arrangements of Sisco Funeral Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff at Home Instead and Hospice for their loving, compassionate care of Ida and continued care of Ray.
